Just reproducing the post I made on the guild forums regarding my main change, since it is a defining moment in my WoW life.. =D

Dear Ordo Leet Peeps,

What can I say, I LOVE ALL OF YOU!!

I don't really know how to start this, but I'm just really really really excited about being able to serve the guild as a tankadin~~ I'm really at a lost of words now... XD

WARNING! This is really going to be one long post~

Well, I've been in this guild for over one and a half yrs now, and I've seen pple leave and new pple come in (and even pple who left coming back ).. The only reason I chose to stay was the guild's atmosphere and environment, I just felt if I shld ever leave, I would missing pple here so much.. And yes, also because I wanted to repay the guild in being willing to give my mage a second chance at being with a raiding guild. Yes, pple DO need 2nd chances sometimes... ^_^

My mage has come a long way since, I've never ever dreamt that one day I would be able to raid T5/6 content on my mage (not many pple get to see the content I've seen, frankly), and well, now it is time for her to take a back seat... I was really trembling when I asked THE QUESTION, probably you all could hear my trembling voice, I don't know.. XD Well, it was a gamble I had to take, and the opportunity presented itself there and then.. =)

I guess many of you who've known me for quite a bit would've already known that I've been longing to serve the guild as a tankadin, well (but the opportunity to do so sorta seem to pass me by previously), and also that I'd been sorta proclaiming that I'm gonna main change once Wrath hits... But I guess, sometimes, patience is duly rewarded, and I've always believe that good things are worth waiting for.. And of course, like an old Chinese saying goes, sometimes u need all the necessary ingredients (pple, environment, situation, things, etc) to be present all at the right time, and things will happen! =P

All I can say is, thank you, once again for realizing my biggest dream in Wow~ Eyurissa will still be around, dun worry, and I know that should we ever be short on decursers for Archimonde, I will be more than happy to bring her (omg, I now have an alt with 1 piece of T6! )..

To all the current mages, thank you for all the guidance you have given me to make me a better mage; and of course happy times in the mage channel.. I'm still going to be lurking around in the channel, ha! Not so easy to get rid of me!

And to the Tank de Corps of Ordo, now I will really need lots of guidance from all of you to help make me a better tank~~ I know that I have a lot to learn and catch up to, since I pretty much skipped the learning process in T5 content.. ^_^ I'm always open to suggestions on how to tank better, and all of you are welcome to give me constructive criticisms!~ I wanna be a leet sauce tank! ;P

To the pple who have been giving my tankadin lotsa support (too many to name =P), thank you so much! I hope that I won't disappoint all of you! I'm pretty aware that in the days to come, many of you will be watching my performance, but all I can promise now is that I will do my best/utmost each & everytime!~ On my part, I will also be reading up much much more about the mechanisms of being a leet sauce tankadin~ ^_~ It gives me great pleasure to be able to serve the guild on my tankadin!~

Thank you all for reading this mumbling, and let us all bring Ordo Letalis to greater heights!~

And oh yeah, thanks for making me the ONLY legitimate female tank in Ordo!~

Back Log (3): MAIN CHANGE. Finally. (11th Aug 2008)

So,we spent 1 entire raid wiping on Archimonde (I was on my mage the whole time), since Archimonde is a one-tank fight.. >.<

But it sorta also gave rise to an idea which only intensifieditself every minute into the raid... Maybe, maybe, I could trade my T6 head token (if it drops) in for the prot pally position which they'd opened up for recruitment again... Could I, really, do that?....

Well I was really sorta divided in feeling, excited (Kill Archimonde!!) yet apprehensive of the kind of response I would receive (Let's hope the token doesn't drop, so I could have more time to formulate a better plan).. >.<

But, you know sometimes things just have to fall into place at the right time... with about 2 hours left to the raid, We finally managed to nab a Archimonde kill on the 3rd night of our weekly raid... And well well, the mage T6 head token (which were shared between mages, rogues & druids) DROPPED~ And my mage (my main then) was next in line to get "crowned", and this, was when I decided, it's now or until Wrath comes out... >.<

So when it came to the point where they were going to hand out the T6 head token, I was shivering uncontrollably (really obvious in my voice)...

Raid Leader: So if you want the T6 head token for mages, rogues & druids, pls say "me" in raid...

(It was definitely going to be mine if I said "me", but... )

Me (Hesitation): Erm, before I take the hat, could I ask a question please?

Raid Leader: Yes, Eyurissa?

Me (in trembling voice): If I take the princess hat, does it mean that I can't apply to be the leetsauce pally tank that the guild is looking for?

(OMG, I ASKED I ASKED!!~)

Silence....

Raid Leader: Well, Eyurissa, we'll come back to your token at the end...

So meanwhile the other tokens were distributed, and I was juz left in trepidation for a few minutes.. It seemed like forever though.. >.<

Raid Leader: Officers, pls come down one channel, we need to discuss Eyurissa's proposal...

Another few minutes passed (it could've been an eternity to me, lolz), and I waited with abated breadth as the officers came back into the raid channel...

Raid Leader: Eyurissa, how much do you want to play your paladin??

Me (took a heavy breath): Very, very, very much~

Raid Leader: Alright then, Eyurissa, we will approve of ur main change, and so no princess crown for you today!!~

OMG, they approved of my main change!! They did they did!~ I was almost going to hug all of them if I really could!!~~

The rest of the raid congratulated me, and well, I was simply too overjoyed and just kept on saying "Thank you thank you" for like a hundred times.. >.< XD

YES, this is the BRAND NEW ME!~ Woohoo!!~~

And you bet, I was a VERY VERY VERY happy TANKADIN that day!~ ;D

Back Log (2): Pictures from Mt Hyjal (9th Aug 2008)

Here are 2 edited screenshots I took~

Forgot to take screenshots of the 1st & 2nd bosses though~ =P

For the 1st boss, Rage Winterchill, I basically did nothing much except to try and do Judgement of Wisdom too, as well as avoiding Death & Decay…

For the 2^nd boss, Anetheron, I was on Infernals duty, and I forgot to make make a simple macro which would make my pulling of the Infernals easier.. >.<>

Was also basically doing nothing much on Kaz'rogal, since I wasn't the main tank here.. Basically just tried to do Judgement of Wisdom as much as I could without blowing up the rest of the raid due to low mana.. =P

Not too sure if I could help out a bit with healing when I’m not doing anything useful next time round.. =P I dun have fantastic heals, but every bit of healing helps I guess.. XD

The 2nd picture here is of Azgalor, the 4th boss of Mount Hyjal:

Was on Doomguards duty here, but the silence effect from the boss makes it a bit challenging pulling the Doomguard which spawned during a silence. But otherwise, Exorcism does the trick since it is a demon. ^_~

Back Log (1) : Tankadin in Action in Hyjal!~ (9th Aug 2008)

Yeah~ Today was my "once-in-a-blue-moon" Saturday morning raid I could attend with the guild since it was National Day in Singapore~ =D And... Guess what?? My guild's default tankadin decided he wanted a break from raiding, and of course he didn't turn up for the raid today (which he'd informed the guild about earlier in the week)...

So, somehow, without my prior knowlegde, the guild's council decided to pass a vote that I tank in Hyjal for today's raid... It went something like this (as good as I could remember)...

Soon after I logged on...

Council member X: Did they tell you about it?
Me: Tell me what?
Council member X: That you're going to tank in Hyjal later
Me: OMG! Are you sure??!!!
Council member X: Yeah, we voted on it
Me: OMG, omg, thanks, guess I should start preparing for it
Council member X: Yupz =)

I was ABSOLUTELY thrilled!~ You wouldn't know how long I've been waiting to tank in Hyjal!!~ It's a REALLY big deal to me, cos I was still an alt!!....

I only had slightly over an hour to prepare, so I went about thrashing about the Maintankadin.com forums, trying to read up as much as possible, getting Free Action Potions made, etc etc... And soon it was time, and I could really feel my nerves untangling... >.<>.<

But then I told myself, "Well, you've been dreaming about this!~ This is your chance to show them what you've got!" And so I pulled my nerves together again and decided to be a brave tankadin~ =D

Fast foward 4 hours later, we had 4 bosses in Hyjal down!~ It was what you would call a very successful run!~ ;) Nopez, no phat lewts for me then, but I can surely say that I was a freaking happy tankadin that day!~ ^_~
